Our Design and Development Process
Project Initiation
Quote Request
We ask that our potential customers fill out our Quote Request form. This allows us to collect the basic information about your project and get a general idea of the end result you are looking for. If we need any further information from you we will arrange a meeting or communicate through email, or over the phone.
Proposal
Once all of the necessary information is gathered we will create a proposal. This proposal will outline your project, giving a summary of each section, show you what the costs will be, as well as highlight any additions to your project that may be of interest.
Contract
After you have reviewed the proposal and have decided on certain details, we will write up a contract. The contract will outline the project details and contain pertinent legal information. This contract is designed to protect both your interests and ours.
Project Development
Design Mockups
The first phase of development is the design. We will provide at least two different design mockups based on your logo, color preferences, a photograph, or other websites you like. You can review the mockups and decide on one or even a combination of elements from the designs. Communication is important during this phase so that we can provide you with just the look you desire.
Gathering Content
The most important part of any website is the information it contains. We will implement the content you give us, (or if needed, write from scratch) for each page of the website. We offer copy-writing as a separate service if it is needed.
Website Creation/Programming
This stage consists of developing the actual website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or anything else required. We will keep in touch during this process so that you can get a glimpse of how it is all coming together. During this phase we will also be adding important basics, such as keywords, to help with search engine placement. When the development is completed you will be able to review the entire website. If no adjustments or changes are needed and you've given the final "ok" then we're ready to launch.
Project Completion
Website Launch
The design is done. The development is complete. Now it's time for visitors! We will upload your website to the web server and it will be ready for traffic.
Training/Maintenance
We offer a variety of both training and maintenance options to our customers. Since every project is different, so are the needs after completion. In your proposal we will provide you with multiple options such as a training manual, on-site training, and difference levels of maintenance agreements. Our maintenance agreements provide you with a certain number of hours each month to make updates and/or changes to your website. All of these services are offered at hourly rates as well.
